GMAT FAQ
1. How many times
should I take the GMAT?
2. How
do I register for the GMAT?
3. How
should I prepare for the GMAT?
1. Do you charge for taxes or shipping?
No. Everything
is downloadable online, so it isn't necessary to ship anything.
There are no taxes (except for the Test Pacer). When you place
your order, you are immediately forwarded to a download page
to access what you ordered. This saves us warehousing, printing
and shipping costs, so that the GMAT Prep Package is only $29
(with email tutor support included). If it were a book, it would
retail $50-$75. Note: 800score.com does ship our product in CDROM
(please email us after the order is placed).
2. How may I
pay for my purchase?
You may pay using American Express, Visa, Discover or U.S. check
using the online forms, or you may print out the order form and
fax it to +1 419.730.5437. International students who wish to
pay by non-U.S. check should email us. U.S. checks
should be sent to:

3. How do I use
your software and prep guides?
Everything is designed to be as convenient as possible. Immediately
after completing your purchase, you will be forwarded to a download
prep guide. You may return to this page at any time for one year
after placing your order.
The practice tests
are downloadable and you can store them on floppy disks or on
your computer. The online books (such as the AWA Guide and the
Online Prep Guide) may be downloaded to your computer or floppy
disk, read online wherever you have access to the internet, or
printed out to read wherever you are.
4. Do you guarantee your products?
If you are dissatisfied and find problems with the material,
we will issue a 100% credit for your purchase. Please describe
the problem you had so that we may address the problem and prevent
other students from encountering it. We can offer this guarantee
because thousands of students have used our tests and prep guides
and their feedback has helped to keep the quality high. We often
change our content to keep up to date with changes in the GMAT
CAT and appreciate any notification of problems.
5. What are the
computing requirements for your software?
The AWA Guide and Online Prep Guide can be used on any computer
with access to the internet. To use our GMAT CAT tests, you should
be on Windows 95, NT, 98 or 2000. Macintosh and Unix users need
a virtual windows program. The 5 tests take 2.1 Megs of space
(you can download everything in about 5 or 10 minutes using a
56K modem).
GMAT FAQ
1. How many times
should I take the GMAT?
Most people are better off preparing thoroughly for the test,
taking it one time and getting their top score. You can take
the test as often as you like, but many business schools will
average your scores. You should contact the schools to which
you are applying to find out their policies. If you know you
did poorly, you have the option of canceling the test
immediately after completing it, and business schools will not
know about your score.
2. How do I register for the GMAT?
Go here,
registration info is on the left hand side.
3. How should
I prepare for the GMAT?
The GMAT is critical to acceptance to prestigious business schools.
The GMAT CAT is an awkward and extremely difficult test that
requires tremendous preparation. Plan on investing at least 75
hours. You should consider buying several prep packages and taking
at least ten practice tests. Good Luck!
